Feelin' better. Whatever had me didn't have me too long. Glad o' tha'. Uh. I might o' been sayin' some strange things while I wasn't feelin' well. Dunno wha' all I said, but I read some stuff 'bout pumpkins... Yeah. Uh. Didn't mean any o' it, obviously.

'Zuru's now feelin' sick. Likely my fault, don't seem like anyone she came in contact wi' 'sides me was sick. Glad 'Chiru seems ta be fine.

Ain't had a whole lot goin' on lately. It's nice in a way, but it ain't nice in others. Gave me time ta work out more an' make a few contacts, but I'm lackin' any sort o' challenge. Dunno. Just wanna get out an' do somethin' in town.

O' course, most o' it's my fault, been keepin' ta myself a bit. Gotta change tha' up. Anyone wanna suggest somethin'? I'm up fer most anythin'.

It's a bit odd, not really havin' any big threats in tha city. Yeah, don't trust Aizen, mostly 'cause o' Yoruichi, but he's more subtle. ShinRa was kinda a target, ya know? Can't do much wi' tha Owls if there ain't much ta be done. Heh. Could even bring 'Chiru in now, but there's not a reason ta without anythin' goin' on. Guess I'm just lookin' fer somethin' ta be 'r work towards.

Took care o' some business. Think I'm in a pretty good mood now. Could do without bein' treated like I'm on death's door 'r somethin', but otherwise things 're good. An' amusin'. Yachiru. I snapped last night, an' I'm sorry fer how upset I got.

Tifa an' Shizuru, I also snapped a' ya. An' I'm sorry.

Ryuuken, I ain't as much of a "damn idiot" as ya.

First, there's somethin' a little more important, than' talkin' 'bout last night. Please, don't meet wi' Lucrecia. She's wi' Hojo, an' he said he wanted a research file on ya.

Onta tryin' ta take this slow an' not rush inta emotions.

I feel responsible fer ya. An' I don't mind it, 'cause I care 'bout ya. I wanna see ya doin' well, wanna see ya wi' people who wanna be wi' ya fer ya, instead o' them. Ya ain't stupid. I went overboard 'cause I wanna protect ya, an' said extremes because ya really weren't listenin'.

I have experience wi' how tha male mind works, an' I've had a lotta years more'n ya in seein' tha good, tha bad, an' tha ugly. This is why it's difficult fer me when ya dismiss my take on someone. No, I can't read all tha subtle stuff. But there's overt stuff, some o' which I showed ya.

I know ya think ya've been listening. Tha fact o' tha matter is, neither o' us were. Know yer gonna argue tha', please hear me out.

I don't get tha friends wi' benefits thing. An' I didn't give ya a chance ta explain. Wha' it seems ta me, is tha' yer lookin' ta him fer sex, an' as a continuin' thing. I dunno how ya can have someone fer tha' an' pursue someone else a' tha same time. Yer devotin' tha' energy towards him. By tha' reasonin', ya ain't free fer others. But I'll listen if ya explain, an' I'll try ta get it. Just...please keep in mind wha' I said there, 'bout how it looks.

Ya've shown a pattern when it comes to guys. Ya trust 'em completely, no matter wha' others say. While ya shouldn't listen ta random bad-mouthin', ya should know by now tha' I'm not just bad-mouthin' ta cause ya a problem. I'm layin' out tha facts o' wha' he's like, an' how he treats me, which shoulda rung warnin' bells fer ya. Ya love me, an' ya've been been sayin' he's nothin', just a toy. I'd think it'd make sense ta see tha' he's a problem, an' I don't get why yer dismissin' wha' I'm sayin'.

Ya ain't stupid. Yer smart. An' I'm seein' tha' in most areas o' yer life. Judgin' guys seems ta be a weak spot fer ya. Tha's all I'm sayin'. We all got weak spots. She's a friend, yers an' mine, an' I can promise ta not spam her wi' my gripes on Ryuuken if ya promise ta mention my concerns when ta talk ta her. Please, talk ta someone who I know cares 'bout ya as a person, an' not as a toy.

Lashin' out an' tellin' me ta leave really hurts. I know I said I hate tha town, but I wasn't speakin' righ' 'cause I was mad. I don't like some o' tha people in this city. It ain't a whole lot. Envy, Deidara, Rufus, Hojo, Ryuuken, an' tha guy I'm thinkin' is behind tha ShinRa attack an' yer kidnappin', Aizen. I ain't sure. I don't got anythin' solid. But he's powerful, so I'm trustin' ya ta keep quiet on tha', an' not go after him by yerself. All o' 'em I got reason for.

Assumin' I got over my dislike o' Ryuuken after wha' he said when ya were takin' is also kinda hurtful. I pushed it ta tha side so I could try ta help ya.

Fer tha longest time, everythin' I did an' 've done was an' is fer ya. Yer my focus, 'Chiru. Yeah, now there's another person involved. But yer still tha main one.

Can we hang out taday? I'll promise not ta lose my temper. An' ya don't gotta leave tha apartment. Have ta say I'd feel a whole lot better knowin' tha' ya were somewhere safe, an' wi' Shizuru. I can go get a hotel room 'r somethin', if ya don't want me under tha same roof as ya.

Lotta new faces. Guess term ends an' everyone gets their heads outta their books 'r shows up ta be ready fer tha next term. Whole lotta fish, heh.

Speakin' o' animals, tha puppies 're gettin' big fast. Athena's a chunk o' muscle. An' she likes my shoes. Gotta remember ta keep them off tha floor, though now she's got a pair ta herself tha' she can play wi'. Buy her all sorts o' chew toys, an' instead she wants tha shoes. Dog's crazy.

Feels good ta be gettin' out o' tha house more, an' ta have had a good gig again. Adrenaline's tha only good drug. Was a bit funny ta be a' tha college party, though. 1) My favorite drink is prolly midori, though I'll go fer just 'bout anythin'.

2) I tried karaoke after losin' a bet. Not even tha drunks liked wha' they heard, heh.

3) Part o' why I tend ta work wi' a partner is 'cause I ain't good at readin' people, so I like ta keep someone near who I trust tha' knows how ta read 'em.

4) I like ta juggle, an' I'm pretty good at it. Torches 're fun, chainsaws I ain't gonna try.

5) I read a lot. Done a lotta waitin' on contractors, an' ridin' on buses an' trains, an' a book's tha easiest way ta fill tha' time.

6) I don't like TV. I'll watch it, but there ain't really any series tha' caught my eye 'r interest. Got it fer movies an' games.

Tha's how old she is now, nineteen. An' she's stuck in bed, eatin' through a straw. I kept tha promise I made ta find her. Now, though, need ta find tha ones who did this. Don't get how they could. Don't figure she's ever pissed someone off 'r made enemies. She ain't like tha'. So why'd they take her as well as tha dog? Obviously Dark Nation meant somethin', they left Artemis. Was 'Chiru just in tha wrong place a' tha wrong time? Was it all 'bout Rufus? How could someone just hurt her?

Anyways. Don't mind me. Thanks ta all tha people tha've visited, an' keep visitin'. She's social, an' havin' visitors when she's stuck like this helps, I think. People 're still welcome ta come.

Speakin' o' Yachiru... She deserves ta know. Figurin', though, tha' we should wait fer her jaw ta be unwired, so she can actually react, whether she's happy 'r upset. People 're welcome ta visit. Just need ta keep a few things in mind.

First off, if yer a friend o' hers 'r ours tha' I know an' trust, I'll let ya be in tha room alone wi' her. If I don't know ya, 'r if I don't trust ya, ya ain't gonna be in there alone. Don't mean ta be rude, but tha's how it is.

Second, remember she can't talk. All tha typin' on tha little thing she's got now gets ta her, too. Don't expect 'r want some in-depth talk.

Third, she's hurt. If she says she's tired, leave. ~~Otherwise she might throw things again.~~

Fourth, don't barrage her wi' questions. See tha second point.

An' last, dang, feel all official now, don't bring food. She can't eat anythin' solid, bringin' tha' stuff now'll only make her upset. Save it fer when tha wires get undone an' she can eat normal stuff again.

Sidenote fer ShinRa people: Tha only one o' ya tha' might be let in tha door is Tseng, an' then fer 'bout five minutes so he can see tha' Yachiru ain't up fer anythin'.

I broke down an' got a cell phone. Ain't had one before. Always had a set o' contacts so people'd be able ta get in touch wi' me if they had a job 'r somethin'.

It's kinda fancy. Got a camera an' an MP3 player. An' I think I just took a picture o' tha inside o' my pocket. Yeah. This is a good sign.

I like gadgets. Fun ta have extra stuff. But when ya got so much ya ain't sure how ta make a call...

I'm exaggeratin' a bit. It's supposed ta be able ta call when I say a name. An' it's got Bluetooth, so I can walk 'round an' talk ta myself an' still look sane... Who'm I kiddin'? I don't look sane, not wi' tha scar.

Anyways. Post is so I can get numbers. Mine is pretty funny, heh. 867-5309. An' I hope I didn't just date myself too much. 'Chiru probably has a phone sheet somewhere, but I ain't seen it.

Actually, might be. Gonna have a good week, I'm thinkin'. Spar tanight, puppies tomorrow, 'nother spar Wednesday, an' sometime in there I'm gonna be workin' wi' Yachiru an' Shizuru, though not a' tha same time.

Just got back from a fight, too. An' had an interestin' night doin' chocolate shots wi' Shizuru an' Kiba an' 'Chiru. Guy has a lotta energy, though it ain't bad.

Wanna do somethin' else fun, though, Shizuru. Got Bond, o' course, but I'm up fer just 'bout anythin'. Ain't much point in keepin' tryin' fer subtle, I suck at it, an' kinda stopped bein' subtle yesterday, so why go back ta it?

Never thought I'd be any good as a host, heh. Think I did all right, though. Hope I didn't disappoint, Tifa.

Tha party was fun. Gotta chance ta meet more people, an' enjoyed talkin' ta most o' them. I'm likin' gettin out an' doin' stuff. Though stayin' in is just as much fun if ya got someone ta see a movie wi', 'r just hang out wi'.

Figure maybe we can do tha puppy thing sometime this week? An' tha barfight? 'r who knows. But it's kinda funny ta keep talkin' about gettin' puppies an' then havin' all sorts o' stuff come up.

Keepin' my music quieter than normal since tha door's open.
